Title: Emergency Room Manager
Location: Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full-Time, Days
Compensation: $110,500 – $128,500/year (based on experience)
Position Overview
A large, full-service acute care hospital in Kansas City is seeking an Emergency Room Manager to provide frontline leadership in its high-acuity Emergency Department. Reporting to the interim ED Director, this role ensures safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a busy trauma environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Manage staff resources, fiscal operations, and performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent Acute Care ED management experience.
- Current RN license in Missouri or active compact license.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- ENPC or PALS upon hire; TNCC or ATCN within 1 year.

- Reason for opening: Prior Manager promoted to Director role at another facility.
