Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with daily classroom routines and activities
- Assist with learning centers, group activities, and classroom transitions
- Help create a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Support meal, rest time, and classroom preparation routines
- Provide classroom coverage as needed throughout the center
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Follow all Michigan childcare licensing and safety requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible and comfortable working with multiple age groups
- Reliable, nurturing, and professional approach
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
- Competitive hourly pay of $16–$18 based on experience
