Loudoun Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 100-bed skilled nursing facility in historic downtown Leesburg, is seeking experienced and dependable Dietary Cooks to join our team. If you enjoy cooking with purpose and want to make a difference in residents’ daily lives, this is a great opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
Follow standardized recipes and accommodate special dietary needs
Ensure food is served on time with excellent quality, taste, and presentation
Monitor food temperatures, portioning, and safety standards
Help oversee Dietary Assistants during meal preparation and service
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
Assist with inventory and ensure ingredients are ready for daily production
What We’re Looking For:
Experience as a cook (healthcare or institutional setting preferred)
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines closely
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Team player with a positive, dependable attitude
Flexibility with schedule and duties as needed
