Toddler Educator- Holly Street Daycare

We're a licensed childcare center that provides a supportive, stimulating environment for young children. Our passionate team of educators is dedicated to helping each child thrive in all areas of development. We're seeking a Toddler Educator to help us deliver exceptional care and education to our 12- to 36-month-old students.

Key Responsibilities:

The Toddler Educator is a vital part of our team, responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters early learning and development. Daily activities will be planned and implemented to support each child's growth and well-being, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom.

Responsibilities Include:

• Communicate effectively with families regarding their child’s day, development, and needs
• Maintain daily routines and classroom management strategies
• Promote social-emotional growth through positive guidance and interaction
• Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to uphold center policies and maintain licensing standards
• Create a nurturing and responsive environment for toddlers
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early learning and development
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom

Qualifications:

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and meet physical demands of working with young children
• Background check and fingerprinting required in accordance with state licensing
• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred

• Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices
• Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting

• Paid Training & Development: Training hours count as paid time. We support ongoing education and cover the cost of required training.

Holly Street Daycare is a childcare center serving children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.
