About This Role

We're seeking a full-time Lead Teacher at Lov N Care Children's Academy. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, based on registry level, education, and experience. As a Lead Teacher, you'll develop and implement the curriculum, manage daily classroom operations, and prioritize children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with children, staff, and parents. What You'll Do

  • Develop engaging classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards to implement the curriculum.
  • Set a positive example by modeling and coaching teaching team members to achieve success.
  • Design and lead individual and group activities that cater to different age groups, promoting social, cognitive, and emotional development in children.
  • Regularly communicate with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and conferences to keep them informed of their child's progress.
  • Maintain adherence to all center policies and state regulations.
  • Ensure a healthy classroom environment by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and prioritizing the safety and security of children.
  • Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers to guarantee they follow planned activities, safety standards, and hygiene protocols.
  • Manage accurate records, forms, and files to maintain organization and transparency.
  • Continuously update your professional development plan to ensure ongoing quality improvement.
  • Strike a balance between logical and social exercises to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
  • Employ a range of teaching methods, including stories, media, and interactive games, to enhance children's abilities.
  • Regularly assess children's performance to ensure they're on track with their learning goals.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress.
  • Identify and address behavioral issues, determining the best course of action to support the child's growth.


Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
  • A strong understanding of child development.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors Degree/Associated Degree
  • High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
