This is an opportunity to take ownership of one of the most exciting areas of the casino while developing a strong team, improving operations, and helping shape the future of our gaming experience.If you're a leader who can think strategically while still staying connected to what's happening on the casino floor, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoAs our Slot Operations Manager, you'll oversee the people and operations that keep our Slot Department running at its best. You'll:Lead the day-to-day operations of the Slot DepartmentRecruit, hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop Slot team membersBuild a team culture centered around exceptional guest service and hospitalityMonitor staffing levels and address performance, development, and operational needsConduct team meetings and communicate procedural and operational updatesDevelop and implement training programs to strengthen team performanceResolve escalated guest concerns and gaming-related issuesPartner with Marketing and other departments to support promotions and guest engagementAnalyze operational activity, costs, revenue performance, and forecastsPrepare reports and identify opportunities to improve departmental performanceHelp develop and implement strategic plans and departmental initiativesDevelop and enforce policies, procedures, and internal controlsProtect company assets and ensure regulatory complianceRepresent the Slot Department in meetings and provide operational insight to company leadershipHelp communicate and implement property-wide initiatives and organizational changesMore Than Managing the FloorThis position isn't just about keeping the Slot Department running. You'll have the opportunity to develop people, analyze performance, improve operations, and contribute to larger strategic decisions.You'll work closely with the Assistant General Manager of Gaming and other department leaders to make sure Slot operations support the goals, mission, and vision of The Point Casino & Hotel.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a confident and experienced leader who understands gaming operations and knows how to turn challenges into solutions.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent5 or more years of general operations management experienceAt least 2 years of experience in a gaming establishmentExceptional guest service and hospitality skillsStrong leadership and team-development abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skillsAbility to analyze percentages, ratios, probability, and other operational dataWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience working with database systemsAbility to prepare and analyze reports, charts, correspondence, and operational informationAbility to work independently and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive mattersAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysGaming Systems ExperienceExperience with the following systems is required or preferred as outlined for the position:LNW CMPLive Floor ViewSDSSTM/EMA and Servizio experience preferredAdditional RequirementsMust obtain a Class III Gaming License issued by the Washington State Gaming Commission and Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming CommissionMust possess a valid Washington State Driver's LicenseMust be able to consent to and pass a hair follicle drug and alcohol screening as a condition of employmentMust be able to regularly move throughout the casino floor and occasionally lift or carry up to 25 poundsMust be comfortable working in a casino environment with variable noise levels, bright and flashing lights, and exposure to secondhand smokeReady to Take the Lead?We're looking for someone who can see the big picture without losing sight of what's happening on the floor.If you're ready to lead a team, strengthen operations, create memorable guest experiences, and play an important role in the continued success of The Point Casino & Hotel, this could be your next move.Apply today and bring your leadership to The Point!
