Job Summary
Provides food and beverage service to Club members and guests.
Job Tasks (Duties)
1. Arrive to work on time and dressed in the proper uniform for the scheduled shift.
2. Set up side station and perform assigned side work.
3. Attend the food and beverage lineup with the Executive Chef.
4. Ensures that tables are properly set with clean silverware, napkins and glassware.
5. Be sure that the water glasses are filled with ice water while the guests are deciding what to order.
6. Takes the members and guest’s order.
7. Enters the order into the point of sales system and confirms the order is correct.
8. Serves meal, places dishes by courses in front of each person, serves from left of the person.
9. Checks back to ensure member and guest satisfaction; replenishes water, beverages, bread, and butter as necessary.
10. Ensures that all soiled silverware, china, and glassware is removed (from the right) and replaced as needed.
11. Suggests and serves desserts and after dinner drinks.
12. Processes all credit cards as applicable from guests’ and facilitates Reciprocal charges as needed.
13. Advises supervisor of any issues or complaints as soon as they occur.
14. Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by the supervisor.
15. Assists in “setting” the dining area for the next shift.
16. Consistently complies with all state, local and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol.
