About the Role:

As a Dietary Cook at Charlottesville Health & Rehabilitation Center, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our patients. You will work closely with our culinary team to prepare all food according to the menu in a safe and sanitary manner. This includes ensuring proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to standardized recipes and menus.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all food according to the menu in a safe and sanitary manner

• Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to standardized recipes and menus

• Work effectively among co-workers, residents, family members, and externally and internally with customers in a team environment

Requirements:

• 1+ year experience in food preparation in a health care, institutional, or restaurant setting

• Proven leadership skills and good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and accurately
