Triad Engineering Inc. has an immediate need for Senior CADD Technician in our Teays Valley, WV office.Feel the security of working for the Triad team by experiencing the following benefits:Excellent compensation and benefits package including:Medical, dental, vision insurance401(k) planPaid holidaysLife, Short- and Long-term disability insurance with company-paid premiumsEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Employee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramCompany supported Professional DevelopmentPersonal Protective Equipment providedCareer AdvancementWhat You'll DoThis senior level position will define and implement CADD applications appropriate to specifications obtained from engineers and project managers.DUTIESFollow all corporate and job site safety proceduresTroubleshoots non-routine problems.Recommend design changes.Prepare cost and quantity estimates and/or design calculations.Assist Practice Leader in establishing and maintaining coordination between the CADD staff and the engineers and project managers.Assist Practice Leader in the supervision, training, and development of CADD personnel.Implement quality control and standard operating procedures established by the Practice LeaderImprove and expand knowledge of relevant software, hardware, and current CADD techniques and standards.Mentor junior CADD techniciansWorks under general direction, receiving project guidance from an engineerCompiles and interprets various types of data to support design and drafting tasksPrepares and develops details, design plans, and specificationsAssists in maintaining workflow processes and CADD related training.Improve and expand knowledge of relevant software, hardware, and current CADD techniques and standardsQUALIFICATIONSEducationEquivalent of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or computer scienceTraining and experience may be substituted in lieu of educationExperience A minimum of 5 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is requiredAdditional RequirementsA valid driver's license and have the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, or have reliable transportation to and from the workplaceThe ability to read, write, and perform basic mathThe ability to comfortably communicate with the publicBasic computer skills (MS Office), including the ability to learn various types of company / client softwareWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
