Description:

Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide appropriate counseling to patients
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Review and interpret prescription orders to verify accuracy and appropriateness
Maintain accurate patient records, including medication histories and interactions
Oversee and manage the pharmacy's inventory, ordering and restocking medications as needed
Provide information and guidance to customers regarding over-the-counter medications and health-related products
Monitor patient health and progress to identify any potential issues or complications
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions
Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote patient wellness and disease prevention

Requirements:

Licensed Pharmacist with a valid state license
Proven experience as a Retail Pharmacist or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage forms, and drug interactions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Continuing education to stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements and industry trends
