Absaroka Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and confident RN Wellness Director to lead the clinical operations of our assisted living community in Cody, Wyoming.

This is an opportunity to do more than manage clinical care. You’ll help shape the culture of our care team, mentor developing professionals, strengthen clinical practices, and work alongside an experienced administrative team that values collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

The RN Wellness Director provides clinical leadership for our community and plays an essential role in ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, person-centered care.

You’ll guide and support our care team, oversee clinical standards and regulatory compliance, partner with families and healthcare providers, and help team members build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.

This role is ideal for an RN who combines strong clinical judgment with a genuine interest in teaching, mentoring, and developing others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight of daily nursing and resident care operations

  • Promote high standards of resident-centered care, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance

  • Guide the implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and nursing protocols

  • Partner with the Leadership Team to support education, training, competencies, and ongoing staff development

  • Mentor and coach nurses, medication staff, caregivers, and other care team members

  • Support resident assessments, care planning, clinical monitoring, and changes in condition

  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, families, and interdisciplinary partners

  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and strengthen clinical systems and processes

  • Promote accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and open communication

  • Serve as a trusted clinical resource for residents, families, and team members

  • Model ethical leadership, adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement

Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Wyoming

  • Minimum of two years of experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred

  • Experience working with older adults and individuals living with dementia preferred

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus; strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to mentor others are equally important

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, team members, and healthcare partners

  • Passion for education, staff development, and creating a healthy workplace culture

  • Commitment to ethical practice, dignity, inclusion, and resident-centered care
