Seeking an experienced and dedicated Unit Manager to lead and coordinate clinical operations on a designated unit within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The Unit Manager ensures high-quality resident care, supervises nursing staff, and maintains regulatory compliance while fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily nursing operations for the assigned unit, ensuring quality care and resident satisfaction

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

  • Monitor and evaluate resident care plans and ensure they are followed and updated as needed

  • Conduct regular rounds to assess resident care, monitor staff performance, and address issues

  • Coordinate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as facility policies

  • Manage staffing schedules, resolve conflicts, and support staff development

  • Investigate and report incidents, ensure proper documentation, and implement corrective actions

  • Serve as a clinical resource and role model for the nursing team

  • Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Communicate effectively with residents and families, addressing concerns professionally and promptly

Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN)/LPN license in the state of New Jersey

  • Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • CPR certification (required); ACLS (preferred)

  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Compassionate, patient-centered, and committed to team success

Schedule & Compensation:
  • Full-time, typically Monday–Friday with occasional weekend or on-call responsibilities
