Job Description
Qualifications:
Fully Onsite
Possibility of conversion but not guaranteed - based on performance and client needs.
Initial end date scheduled for 12/31/2026 with possibility of extension, based on performance.
Minimal OT may be required, if needed.
Summary
Support daily goals related to Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality, and Housekeeping. Assist with assigned objectives from the Continuous Improvement Leader by following safety procedures and standard operating procedures. Utilize various tools, including painting equipment and hand tools, to safely enhance 5S standards.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Computer Skills:
Basic PC Skills. Microsoft Word/Excel a plus.
Other Qualifications:
Skills to safely operate various pieces of mechanical equipment
Skills to do basic math equations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Capable of lifting 50 pounds routinely
Ability to work in different environments
Willingness to work 8-hour shifts
Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
Satisfactory background screening and drug test
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
Clean walls, ledges, flat surfaces, floors, and equipment
Paint 5S Standard floor and wall markings (5S = Sort, Set-in-order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Order and arranging items and tools
Clean floor using air chisel
Assist in 5S activities and tasks (5S = Sort, Set-in-order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Perform basic computer skills to keep track of Continuous Improvement progress
Assist in labeling equipment
Use stencil maker to create stencils to paint floor marking labels
Physical Demands:
Regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, and handle objects.
Frequently reach with hands and arms.
Repetitive motions.
Routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment:
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, hot, cold, and humid outdoor conditions.
Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles.
Moderate noise levels are typical of the work environment.
