Cashier/Gas Station Attendant

We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic team player to join our crew at our busy gas station and convenience store. In this multitasking role, you'll split time between the register/cashier station and our kitchen/food service area. If you enjoy fast-paced work, helping customers, and keeping things running smoothly, this could be a great fit!Key Responsibilities• Greet customers with a smile and provide excellent, friendly service at the register and throughout the store.• Handle cash, credit/debit, and other transactions accurately using our POS system; balance drawer at shift end.• Prepare and serve fresh kitchen items (sandwiches, snacks, hot foods, etc.) while maintaining food safety standards.• Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise; rotate products and check for freshness.• Keep the store, kitchen, restrooms, and outside areas (including fuel pumps) clean and organized.• Assist with fuel transactions, lottery, and other retail sales.• Monitor inventory levels and report any needs to the manager.• Follow all company policies, safety rules, and local regulations (including age verification for restricted items).Requirements• Previous retail, cashier, or kitchen experience is a plus, but we're happy to train motivated beginners!• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts (including weekends).• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.• Basic math skills and comfort with handling money.• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.• Must be at least 18 years old.• Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one) is preferred.What We Offer• Competitive hourly pay with room to grow.• Employee discounts on fuel, snacks, and store items.• Flexible scheduling options.• Opportunities for advancement in our growing local business (we also operate related services in the area).• Supportive team environment with hands-on training.• Potential for performance bonuses or incentives.We're a locally owned operation that values hard work and team members who take pride in what they do.
