Together with Palmer Logistics, we are building on a shared commitment to safety, operational excellence, customer partnerships, innovation and continuous improvement.This position offers the opportunity for career growth and development, to make a positive impact in our organization, and help shape the future of our U.S. warehouse operations.Position SummaryWarehouse Associates are responsible for assisting in receiving, shipping and quality control of various customer products consisting of non-hazardous and hazardous materials, food grade and other commodities. This position plays a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring the proper preparation and accuracy of shipments. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and reliable in a fast-paced environment, while implementing best practices that support the continued growth of Palmer Logistics and H. Essers.Pay Rate:$17.00- $18.50 per hour depending on experience and knowledge.Key Responsibilities:Prepare product for shipping including but not limited to labeling, banding, stretch wrapping, block and brace, cleaning drums and totes, and restack bags and pails.Verify shipments for accuracy, document and report any discrepancies.Inspect and perform quality checks on orders prior to shipping.Utilize RF scanner.Follow established company policies and procedures.Collaborate with warehouse and office personnel to meet productivity goals.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.Qualifications:Must have 1-3 years of warehouse experience in a logistics environment.Forklift experience is a plus.Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.Must be able to work in a congested area(s) and non-climate-controlled warehouse.Handling hazardous material is a plus.Must be able to lift 50 lbs, adjust the body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat, and grab; walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.High school diploma or GED.Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceCompany-paid Life InsuranceVoluntary Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital Indemnity, Short-Term Disability & Long-Term Disability Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffPalmer Logistics and H.
