Dietary Cook

CareCore at Mentor is seeking a dependable and motivated Full-Time Cook to join our Dietary team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing quality meals and working in a team-focused healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and resident dietary needs

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area

• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanup as needed

• Follow special diets, portion guidelines, and dietary instructions

• Work closely with the Dietary Manager and facility team

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience preferred

• Healthcare, long-term care, or senior living experience is a plus, but not required

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team

• Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
