This role is responsible for safely transporting products on local routes ranging from South Salt Lake to Southern Idaho, while assisting with loading, unloading, palletizing, wrapping, and shipping/receiving tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have a current Class A CDL, a clean driving record, strong time management skills, and a professional attitude when interacting with customers, vendors, and the general public. Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks and trailers to complete local pickups and deliveries
• Transport products locally anywhere from South Salt Lake up to Southern Idaho
• Deliver and pick up materials in a timely and safe manner
• Load and unload trucks and trailers, including palletizing and wrapping products
• Secure loads properly for safe transportation
• Plan efficient routes using navigation tools
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and documentation
• Handle delivery paperwork, including signed Bills of Lading and related documents
• Refuel vehicles and keep trucks and trailers clean and ready for use
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
• Communicate maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Assist in the shipping and receiving department when not driving

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Clean driving record for at least 3 years
• Current DOT Medical Card preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of Class A commercial driving experience preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to drive for extended periods and safely operate a tractor-trailer
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and identify safety concerns
• Comfortable assisting with loading, unloading, and warehouse/shipping tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Pay

$26.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
