Job Summary for the Activity Aide position:
At Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking an energetic and dependable Activities Aide to join our dynamic Activities program. As an Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Job Responsibilities for the Activity Aide position:
Assist the Activities Director in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and social events
Develop and lead activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, therapy, and social services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback
Performs other duties as assisigned

Requirements for the Activity Aide position:
Experience working with the elderly and/or physically challenged in a Healthcare setting is required
Must be creative and compassionate with prior proven experience working as an Activity Assistant
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
