Job Description
Landowner Outreach & Negotiation: Initiate contact with landowners to discuss, negotiate, and secure easement and right-of-way agreements while addressing concerns and explaining compensation terms.
Relationship & Community Management: Act as the primary point of contact in the field, building and maintaining positive, transparent, and professional relationships with landowners and stakeholders.
Progress Tracking & Documentation: Meticulously track and document agreement progress using internal tracking systems to ensure complete, accurate records and compliance with company standards.
Strategy & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers and leadership to refine acquisition strategies, resolve obstacles, and achieve key project milestones.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all negotiations, contracts, and field activities fully comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in right-of-way acquisition, landowner negotiations, or a closely related field.
Licensing: Must possess a Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) ROW license or be willing/eligible to obtain it immediately.
Logistics & Location: Must be located in or near the Fort Worth, TX area, with the ability to travel locally for direct landowner engagement.
Negotiation Track Record: Proven ability to negotiate, overcome objections, and close agreements in a professional and efficient manner.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
Technical Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems, project tracking tools, and standard office software (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail, especially when managing multiple concurrent agreements.
