Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Evenings)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) for a 13-week travel assignment in Coos Bay, OR.


Contract Details
  • Evenings, 12 hr 3p-3a 36 hours GTD
  • Start Date: 9/29/2026
  • Contract: 13 Weeks
  • Location: Coos Bay, OR
  • Hourly Pay: $ 28.00
  • Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1190.00
  • Weekly Total Pay: $1946.00
  • Weekend Requirements: Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
  • On Call Requirements: On Call schedule to be determined by facility
  • Non-billable hours: 16 hours

Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness
  • Teach patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient
  • Immediately stabilize incoming patients
  • Administer medication as instructed by physicians
  • Start intravenous lines, and set broken bones
  • Perform tracheotomies and intubations
  • Give patients stitches and sutures
  • Create and maintain incoming patient records
  • Work with team of emergency staff to help patients
  • Help transfer stable patients to other wings

Compensation:

  • Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
  • Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have recent (in the past 2 years) acute care hospital experience
  • Must have 2 years experience of emergency department experience
  • There is also an Oregon State RN License requirement
  • Must have valid and current ACLS, TNCC, PALS certifications
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
