Position Summary
We are seeking a Sandblaster for a manufacturing facility in Springfield, Ohio. The Sandblaster will use sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting and other finishing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces
Remove rust, paint, debris, and other surface materials as needed
Prepare containers and crates for painting and finishing
Inspect surfaces to ensure they are properly prepared
Follow all workplace safety procedures and requirements
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work overtime as required, including after scheduled hours and weekends
