Duration: 13 Weeks
Travel Gross Weekly: $2,400–$2,600/week (Based on Experience)
Local Pay: $60–$64/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract
Work Setting: 100% Onsite
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a high-acuity Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent ED experience, including some pediatric experience, and be comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients from newborns through geriatric populations.
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, monitoring, and prioritization of care.
- Care for patients with complex and critical conditions including:
- Stroke
- Sepsis
- Trauma
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Cardiac Arrest
- Respiratory Failure
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as ordered.
- Manage critical care drips and medications according to established protocols.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergency situations.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and emergency department protocols.
- Float to other appropriate areas as required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience.
- Pediatric Emergency Department experience preferred/required as part of recent ED background.
- Previous travel nursing experience required for travel candidates.
- Experience working in a high-acuity Emergency Department required.
- Epic EMR experience required.
The following current certifications are required:
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- Active New York RN License required.
- Nursys license verification required.
- Skills checklist matching the Emergency Department specialty required.
- Current resume must clearly document relevant ED and travel experience.
- Driver's license with an address matching submitted demographics may be required.
- Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.

Travel & Local Candidates- Travel candidates: Must reside at least 75 miles from the assignment location.
- Local candidates: Candidates residing within 75 miles may be considered at the applicable local rate of $60–$64/hour.
- Travel candidates must have previous travel nursing experience.
