Position: RN/LPN Supervisor – Full-Time
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $45–$52 per hour, based on experience

Position SummaryThe RN/LPN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations and resident care during the overnight shift. Working closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), the Supervisor will provide clinical leadership, support nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a safe, professional, resident-centered environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee nursing department operations during the assigned shift
Support the DON and ADON in maintaining high standards of resident care
Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care, safety, and staff performance
Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage throughout the shift
Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely clinical interventions
Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and room readiness
Ensure accurate and timely documentation and clinical charting
Monitor compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and federal requirements
Participate in surveys, audits, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, resident concerns, and grievances
Ensure completion of narcotic counts and emergency equipment and safety checks
Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
Assist with maintaining continuity and quality of care across shifts
Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the State of New Jersey
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
At least 6 months of experience in rehabilitative or restorative nursing
Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
