Position Summary

Blue Sky Mental Health Clinic is seeking compassionate, independently licensed therapists to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice. We are currently hiring for our Silver Spring, Maryland and Southeast Washington, DC locations.

Therapists will provide evidence-based psychotherapy while working collaboratively with psychiatric providers in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must possess an active independent clinical license in Maryland and/or Washington, DC, including one of the following:

  • LCSW-C (Maryland)
  • LICSW (Washington, DC)
  • LCPC (Maryland)
  • LPC (Washington, DC)
  • LMFT
  • Licensed Psychologist
Dual licensure in Maryland and Washington, DC is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, family, and/or couples psychotherapy as appropriate.
Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
Collaborate with psychiatric providers regarding treatment planning and patient progress.
Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations when appropriate.
Conduct crisis assessments and implement safety planning as needed.
Provide culturally competent, trauma-informed care.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and ethical standards.
