Assistant Director or a Child Care Center

We are looking for a loving assistant director to help run our center. We want someone who is organized and understanding and has knowledge of behaviors, trauma, and backgrounds. We need someone who is willing to help spread their knowledge to staff about managing behaviors and classroom organization.

• managing day to day ratios
• managing staff and children files
• managing behaviors and having meetings with families
• managing staff and having meetings with staff
• knowledge of systems in daycare center
• Able to set a daycare schedule day to day and manage schedule changes
• Must be able to learn curriculum and help staff with keeping up with them

• high school diploma or equivalent
• able to pass a background check
• able to pass a background check
• CPL 3 or higher in Ohio Professional Registry
• comfortable communicating with parents
• comfortable communicating with staff
• calm and patient

• experience
• degree or certificate in child care related field
