From security officers to security management, United States Security Service employees thrive on providing exceptional service.We seek to employ qualified security professionals for a high profile hotel, located in a Midtown Manhattan location.RequirementsA valid New York State Security Guard licenseAll Security training must be up to dateHigh School Diploma or GED preferredFlexible availability to workF03 COF Fireguard LicenseCPR Certified1 Year of verifiable security experiencePrior hotel security preferred, but not requiredMust be able to stand, patrol, and work outdoors if necessaryStrong Computer skills (Typing, Internet, MS Office)Ability to pass a drug screeningResponsibilitiesProvide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and fellow hotel personnelPatrol guest areas for unusual, dangerous, or illegal activity and unauthorized individualsRespond to Medical Emergencies, provide basic first aid to injured colleagues and guestsMaintaining exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skillsComplete security checks and follow post orders as directed by the hotelReport necessary incidents and occurrences during each scheduled shiftKeep a log with hourly entriesConduct employee bag checksAccess control of all contractors coming in to the propertyUphold a professional appearance and demeanorBenefits include paid time off, medical, 401K, employee recognition programs, and weekly pay.NY License No. 11000186816
