About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest level of care is delivered to our residents. You will be responsible for:
Collaborating with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies and procedures
Supervising and mentoring nursing staff to ensure exceptional patient care and customer service
Conducting regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
Developing and managing budgets and resources to optimize care delivery
Building strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Responsibilities:
Oversee the administration of medications and treatments
Monitor and report on patient flow, length of stay, and quality metrics
Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
2+ years of experience in a healthcare facility or related setting
Strong understanding of skilled nursing standards of care
Good critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills
