Position – Shift Supervisor

Job Location – Western Wisconsin, Dunn County

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – Day Shift

Starting Pay – Competitive salary based on experience

Required Education – High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience – Previous manufacturing and production leadership experience required

The Shift Supervisor will oversee day-to-day production activities while providing leadership, direction, and support to employees. This position is responsible for helping the team meet production, quality, safety, and efficiency expectations while maintaining an organized and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide daily direction to production employees
  • Coordinate workflow, staffing, and production priorities
  • Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and overall shift performance
  • Coach, train, and support employees to meet performance expectations
  • Address production issues and help troubleshoot problems as they arise
  • Ensure work areas are properly staffed and prepared to meet production needs
  • Monitor attendance and employee performance
  • Promote a safe, organized, and positive work environment
  • Communicate production concerns, delays, and staffing needs to management
  • Assist with employee onboarding and training
  • Complete required production documentation and shift communication
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity
  • Work closely with other departments and leadership to achieve daily goals

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing experience required
  • Previous supervisory or production leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach employees and hold team members accountable
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust to changing production needs
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Active manufacturing and production environment
  • Regular standing and walking throughout the workday
  • Ability to work around production equipment
  • Ability to bend, reach, and lift materials as needed
  • Must follow established safety procedures and workplace requirements
