Regal Heights Rehab and Nursing Center is a skilled Nursing Facility located in Jackson Heights, Queens. We are a local home, located next to public transport, looking for a housekeeper to join our team. (Prior experience in hotel, hospital, or nursing home setting needed.)

Housekeeper for Nursing Home
Job Summary:
Responsible for the maintenance of an approved level of cleanliness and sanitary conditions of the areas assigned within the Nursing Home.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department
Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
Ensure that equipment is clean and in working condition
Follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner
Removal of trash & used linens. Should be able to lift up to forty pounds
Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with a plastic liner
Properly store equipment, tools, and supplies
Report any broken equipment to supervisor.
