Admissions Coordinator-Nursing Home located in Brooklyn, NY
Salary: $70K range (based on experience)
Responsibilities of the Admissions Coordinator:
- Coordinates the admission process to ensure the medical, social, emotional, and financial needs of the resident are handled accurately and efficiently
- Coordinates pre-admissions, scheduled and emergency admissions to facilitate admission;
- Reviews department policies and procedures
- Maintains the confidentiality of all resident care information
Qualifications of the Admissions Coordinator:
- Must have previous experience as an Admissions Coordinator in long term care/skilled nursing facility
- Must have nursing home experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Able to execute plans to achieve desired outcomes
