Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Ganado, AZ
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Variable — Days & Nights
Start: ASAP

Travel Gross Weekly: $2,800–$3,000/week, based on experience
Local Pay: $75–$80/hour, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide comprehensive maternal, obstetric, and newborn care. Strong recent L&D experience is required.

Candidates with a NICU background or Level II+ nursery experience are highly preferred, as the RN may be required to care for higher-acuity newborns and provide stabilization while awaiting transport to a higher level of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Labor & Delivery, OB, and newborn care.
• Monitor maternal, fetal, and newborn conditions.
• Assist with deliveries and respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies.
• Assess and stabilize higher-acuity newborns while awaiting transport to a higher level of care.
• Monitor newborns and recognize changes in condition requiring escalation.
• Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as ordered.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, transport teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain patient safety and follow established clinical policies and procedures.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible to practice in Arizona.
• Recent Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Strong maternal and newborn assessment skills.
• NICU or Level II+ nursery experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to stabilize and monitor higher-acuity newborns.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work variable schedules, including night shifts.
• Must be available for an ASAP start.
