Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Medical Records / Central Supply Clerk to support daily operations in our skilled nursing facility. This dual‑role position ensures accurate medical record management while maintaining supply inventory and facility readiness.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and organize resident medical records in compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations
Audit documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Assist with audits, surveys, and billing documentation
Stock and manage medical and facility supplies, including emergency inventory
Track expiration dates and maintain clean, organized supply areas
Verify deliveries and maintain inventory records
Support quality assurance and daily facility operations
Education / Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of medical records experience in a healthcare setting
High school diploma or equivalent required
ART (Accredited Records Technician) or RRA (Registered Records Administrator) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of medical records practices, ethics, classification, and nomenclature
Familiarity with accreditation standards and state health regulations
Understanding of federal and state compliance requirements
Ability to interpret and apply medical records policies and procedures
