CV Anesthesiologist - $700K & 10 Weeks Off
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist to join our established cardiothoracic anesthesia practice in the Tulsa, Oklahoma region. This full-time position offers an exceptional compensation package of $700,000 annual 1099 base salary with potential earnings up to $750,000, combined with an outstanding 10 weeks of time off each year. Job Responsibilities- Administer cardiovascular anesthesia for complex cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
- Perform anesthesia for coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgeries
- Provide anesthesia care for heart valve replacement and repair procedures
- Conduct transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) examinations during cardiac cases
- Deliver anesthesia for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, and the cardiothoracic care team
- Provide anesthesia coverage for select main operating room cases as needed
- Work alongside experienced cardiac anesthesiologists, general anesthesiologists, and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs)
- Participate in a team-based cardiovascular anesthesia practice model
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (required)
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of accredited Anesthesiology residency program
- Echocardiography certification (required)
- Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship training (preferred but not required)
- Eligible for Oklahoma medical license or currently licensed in Oklahoma
- Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesia
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
