Join Our Team as a Resident Care Aid at Serenity Assisted Living!

Serenity Assisted Living in Buckhannon, WV, is seeking caring and motivated individuals to join our team as Resident Care Aides for the evening and night shift. If you’re attentive, engaged, and ready to provide compassionate care to our residents, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

As a Resident Care Aide, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting safety checks every 30 minutes to ensure residents' security.
• Assisting residents with restroom needs and providing incontinence care.
• Supporting residents with ambulation and transfers.
• Helping with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Preparing residents for the evening and bedtime after dinner.
• Monitoring residents overnight and helping toilet, answer call lights, and performing personal care needs
• Getting residents ready and dressed for the day
• Performing light cleaning and mopping tasks.
• Contributing to day-to-day tasks (to be discussed in more detail during the interview).

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for individuals who are compassionate, dependable, and ready to make a positive impact. To join our team, you’ll need to meet the following qualifications:

• Pass a WV Cares Background Test.
• Pass a facility drug screen.
• Complete a Two-Step TB test (which can be done at our facility before starting).

No prior experience is required, so if you’re eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Shift Details

• Hours: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Schedule: 5 days a week

Benefits: Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, all available after 3 months for employees working 32+ hours a week.
