Sales Manager – Warehouse Sales & Services

Company: Warehouse Sales & Services (WSS)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Metro Atlanta, Georgia
Reports To: Executive Management

About Warehouse Sales & Services

Warehouse Sales & Services (WSS) is a growing warehouse equipment sales and service company serving customers throughout Georgia. We provide warehouse equipment, material-handling solutions, equipment sales, rentals, parts, service, and related support to help businesses operate safely and efficiently.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts, develop new business, manage customer relationships, and help build a high-performing sales organization.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition, existing account development, sales strategy, and team leadership. This position will manage the day-to-day sales process while working closely with operations, service, parts, purchasing, and management to ensure customers receive excellent service from the initial inquiry through delivery and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader who understands B2B sales, warehouse or material-handling equipment, and the importance of building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue and profitability goals.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to improve performance and accountability.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and customer visits.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales through equipment, rentals, parts, service, and related products.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and ensure quotes and proposals are prepared accurately and promptly.
  • Follow up consistently on quotes, leads, and open opportunities to move prospects through the sales process.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and sales forecasts.
  • Track sales activity, customer opportunities, and results using company CRM and business systems.
  • Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure commitments made to customers can be fulfilled.
  • Assist with pricing, negotiations, contracts, and major customer opportunities.
  • Identify new markets, industries, and customer segments for business development.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market conditions, and customer needs.
  • Establish sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the sales team.
  • Review sales performance regularly and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Help develop sales procedures, processes, and best practices as the company grows.
  • Represent WSS professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, industry events, and other business-development opportunities.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer concerns.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in warehouse equipment, material handling, industrial equipment, automotive, fleet, rental, service, or a related industry.
  • Previous sales management or sales leadership experience preferred.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong business-development and customer relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and developing new business.
  • Strong understanding of the complete sales cycle, from lead generation through closing and customer retention.
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze sales reports and use data to make business decisions.
  • Self-motivated, professional, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operations and management.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally and regionally as needed.
Preferred Experience

Experience selling or managing sales involving:

  • Warehouse and material-handling equipment
  • Electric vehicles and industrial equipment
  • Forklifts, tuggers, stockchasers, carts, or related equipment
  • Equipment rentals
  • Parts and service
  • Fleet sales
  • Industrial or commercial B2B accounts
  • Equipment refurbishment or used-equipment sales
What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a builder and leader, not simply someone who manages an existing book of business. The right candidate will be comfortable developing new accounts, creating sales opportunities, establishing processes, holding a sales team accountable, and helping WSS grow.

The successful candidate will be highly driven, organized, customer-focused, and willing to be hands-on in both strategy and execution.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance-based bonus/incentive opportunity
  • Opportunities for advancement as the company grows
  • Company-supported sales tools and technology
  • Professional and collaborative work environment
  • Paid time off
  • Company benefits, as applicable

Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated sales leadership ability.
