Automotive Service Technician ($36-$38/Flag Hour + $5K Sign-On)

Joseph Airport Toyota is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our high-volume service department!

Toyota experience is preferred, but it is NOT required. Experienced dealership technicians from other manufacturers are encouraged to apply.

• $36–$38 per flat-rate hour, based on experience, certifications, and ASEs

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, electrical systems, and other vehicle systems
• Use factory scan tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Perform multi-point inspections and identify recommended repairs
• Accurately document repairs, findings, and recommendations
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle status and repair recommendations
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Continue developing your technical skills through manufacturer training and certification programs

• Previous professional experience as an Automotive Technician, Automotive Service Technician, Toyota Technician, or dealership technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to diagnose electrical and drivability concerns
• Toyota experience and certifications are preferred, but not required
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Dealership experience preferred
• Hybrid vehicle experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
