Electromechanical Reliability Technician — Food Packaging Operations

Step onto the production floor at 2:00 PM and make an immediate impact. You’ll start by walking the line, talking with operators, and prioritizing what needs attention. A conveyor is drifting off track? You get it squared away. A bagger is throwing a sensor fault? You trace the wiring, replace a component, and verify the fix. Your focus: keep a high-volume food production and packaging operation in Willoughby Hills, OH running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Tackle

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across production and packaging lines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as conveyors, bagging and sealing systems, grading machinery, and vacuum packaging units.
• Work with motors, sensors, wiring, and other electrical components; read schematics and technical prints to guide repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspection to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Test equipment after repairs to confirm reliability before returning it to service.
• Help track spare parts and occasionally support basic facility maintenance.

Your Schedule & Location

• Location: Willoughby Hills, OH
• Shift: 2nd Shift — 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Saturday
• Overtime: May be available/required based on production needs

Compensation & Employment

• Pay: $30–$36/hour, based on experience
• Employment Type: Direct hire with full benefits

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting capability plus electrical repair know-how.
• Ability to independently diagnose problems and execute repairs.
• Proficiency working with motors, sensors, wiring, and production machinery.
• Comfort reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings.
• Skilled with hand and power tools; PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Reliability: consistent attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Physical & environment: lift up to 60 lbs. and work in both warm and refrigerated areas.
