This 18-day role is perfect for someone who values both safety and service in a dynamic setting.Located in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Little League International is seeking Event Staff to support one of the world's most recognized youth sports organizations during an 18-day World Series event assignment. This temporary role pays $12.00 per hour and offers the opportunity to be part of a team-oriented environment supporting event operations, guest services, and the overall event experience. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and successfully pass required background checks. One shift is currently available, and schedules may vary based on game times:Shift Time:• 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM EVENT STAFF/SECURITY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Include, but not limited to, the following):Must be at least 18 years of age with reliable transportation and the ability to commute to South Williamsport, PASafety-conscious and alert, with the ability to learn and follow event rules, procedures, and the layout of the complexImmediately report all incidents, hazards, and suspicious activityFollow the established chain of command at all timesMaintain situational awareness across assigned areasSupport crowd management and visitor safetyEnforce all Little League policies and proceduresUtilize communication equipment professionally and appropriatelyProvide accurate directions and assistance to guestsAssist with lost persons and reunification effortsMaintain a calm, professional, and authoritative presence PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time in all weather conditionsRemain in an assigned area until properly relievedAbility to walk on inclined surfaces to reach assigned postsMaintain focus and attentiveness while on duty, without distractionGood eyesight, hearing, clear communication skills, and a calm, composed demeanor under pressureFriendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented, with a positive and inclusive attitudeDependable, punctual, and able to maintain a neat, professional appearance in accordance with the dress codePossesses sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to handle stressful or changing situations professionally ABOUT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONALLocated in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, we are the administrative and operational headquarters for Little League Baseball and Softball, the leading nonprofit youth sports organization with 75+ years of history supporting youth baseball and softball.
