Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 40 anesthesia cases/day
Case Mix: General, ENT with peds, GYN, OB, plastics, endoscopy, urology, ortho, vascular, cardiothoracic, and neuro

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 3–4 weeks, provided the provider completes all required documents

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active PA license
Board: NBCRNA required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Other Qualifications: Vascular, neuro, and thoracic experience preferred; OB optional

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide anesthesia care under the medical direction of anesthesiologists at a maximum 4:1 ratio
Manage anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical cases including General, ENT, GYN, OB, Plastics, Endoscopy, Urology, Orthopedics, Vascular, Cardiothoracic, and Neuro
Float between three facilities: DuBois, Clearfield, and Brookville as needed
Perform regional blocks and epidurals as desired
Cover cases in 11 ORs, 2 hospital GI suites, 3 GI suites at the CRNA-led endo center, bronchoscopy lab, and cath lab
