Task Lead Analyst (TLA)


Location: Fort Bragg, North Carolina – U.S. Army Reserve Headquarters
Position Type: Full-Time
Clearance: Active SECRET or ability to begin performance with an Interim SECRET
Schedule: Monday–Friday, generally 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Eastern

Position Summary


Cornerstone will seek an experienced Task Lead Analyst (TLA) to provide operational leadership and task coordination supporting the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) Headquarters Analyst Support Services program. The TLA will work closely with the Program Lead Analyst to coordinate a geographically dispersed team providing analytical support to Army Reserve headquarters and subordinate organizations.

The TLA will oversee daily task execution, coordinate requirements across functional areas, monitor workload and deliverables, and ensure assigned activities are completed accurately and on schedule. The TLA will also serve as the designated alternate to the Program Lead Analyst and will have authority to act for the contractor on matters related to daily contract operations when the PLA is unavailable.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Support the Program Lead Analyst in managing day-to-day performance of the USAR Analyst Support Services program.
  • Serve as the designated alternate to the Program Lead Analyst and act for the contractor when the PLA is unavailable.
  • Exercise authority on contractor matters associated with daily operations when serving in the PLA's absence.
  • Coordinate and monitor assigned tasks across a geographically dispersed analytical workforce.
  • Translate Government requirements and priorities into coordinated contractor actions and track requirements through completion.
  • Monitor workload, schedules, suspenses, deliverables, and task status across multiple functional areas.
  • Coordinate activities among analysts supporting facilities, real property, strategic planning, non-tactical vehicle fleet management, civilian personnel management, and other Army Reserve requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with the PLA, Government stakeholders, functional leads, and contractor personnel.
  • Identify schedule, staffing, performance, and mission risks and elevate issues requiring management attention.
  • Assist with workforce scheduling, cross-training, coverage, and continuity planning.
  • Review analytical products, reports, briefings, and other deliverables for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Assist with quality-control activities and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track Government requests, action items, deliverables, and recurring requirements.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new contractor personnel.
  • Ensure assigned personnel comply with applicable contract, security, training, access, and administrative requirements.
  • Assist the PLA with status reporting, meetings, performance reviews, and communication with Government stakeholders.
  • Maintain operational continuity during periods when the PLA is unavailable.
Required Qualifications


  • Minimum seven (7) years of management or supervisory experience.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in Department of Defense Staff Leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating personnel in a DoD, Army, or comparable military headquarters environment.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous requirements and maintain accountability for schedules, suspenses, and deliverables.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and geographically dispersed personnel.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Government leadership, technical personnel, analysts, and contractor management.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and assume senior program responsibilities when required.
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications and collaborative Government work environments.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • SECRET security clearance or Interim SECRET acceptable for the start of full performance, subject to Government requirements.
Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous experience supporting the U.S. Army Reserve, Headquarters Department of the Army, Army major command, or comparable DoD headquarters.
  • Experience with Army staff actions, task management, briefings, decision-support products, and senior-level coordination.
  • Experience supporting Army G-3/5/7, G-4, engineering, facilities, logistics, force management, civilian personnel, or related staff functions.
  • Experience coordinating geographically dispersed contractor or Government teams.
  • Experience with Government contract performance management, quality control, workforce continuity, and transition activities.
The Task Lead Analyst will be a Key Personnel position and will serve as the primary operational alternate to the Program Lead Analyst, providing continuity of contractor leadership and ensuring USAR analytical requirements remain coordinated and on schedule.
