Job SummaryThe Human Resources Generalist supports a diverse portfolio of Ginosko companies by delivering high-quality HR services across key operational areas. Reporting directly to the CHRO, this role administers core HR functions including benefits, garnishments, leave of absence programs, unemployment claims, payroll support, and HR records management.This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate employee data, and supporting efficient HR operations across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesBenefits AdministrationAdminister employee benefit programs and support day-to-day benefits operationsCoordinate open enrollment, including communications, system updates, and vendor collaborationProcess enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS and vendor systemsRespond to employee benefit inquiries and resolve issuesReconcile monthly benefit invoices and ensure accurate payroll deductionsAssist with benefits audits and reporting (e.g., ACA, Form 5500)Garnishments AdministrationRespond to wage garnishment orders from courts, agencies, and vendorsReview documentation for accuracy and legal compliance before processingCommunicate with employees regarding garnishment requirementsMaintain accurate records and ensure deadlines and reporting are metUnemployment AdministrationManage unemployment insurance claims, including preparing and submitting responsesMaintain organized documentation filesHelp mitigate unemployment costs through timely and accurate responsesPayroll SupportProcess employee changes impacting payrollSupport payroll accuracy, including timekeeping, deductions, and employee dataRespond to employee payroll-related questionsHR Documentation & Inbox AdministrationReceive, review, file, and distribute HR-related correspondenceEnsure timely responses to sensitive or time-sensitive communicationsMaintain accurate, compliant employee records and new hire documentationSafeguard confidentiality of all employee informationMonitor and manage the shared HR inbox, routing inquiries as appropriateLeave of Absence AdministrationPrepare and administer leave documentation, including FMLACommunicate eligibility and requirements to employeesReview medical certifications for completeness and complianceCoordinate benefits processes during leave, including repayment trackingMaintain accurate and compliant leave recordsHR Operations SupportAssist with performance review administration and trackingSupport HR projects, audits, and strategic initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processesEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC)QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field requiredExperienceMinimum of 3 years of HR Generalist or related experience required5+ years preferredCertificationsSHRM-CP or PHR certification preferredTechnical & Professional SkillsSolid knowledge of HR practices and employment lawsProficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skillsExcellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilitiesHigh level of discretion and confidentialityStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Ginosko?Opportunity to support a growing and diverse organizationExposure to a wide range of HR functions and initiativesCompetitive compensation and benefits package
