Part Time Activity Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and energetic professional to support engaging daily activities and enrichment experiences for participants in a welcoming, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others stay active, connected, and involved through thoughtfully planned programs and compassionate support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, setup, and facilitation of recreational, social, and educational activities
• Provide friendly, respectful support to participants during group and individual programs
• Encourage participation and help create a positive, inclusive atmosphere
• Prepare activity materials, supplies, and space before scheduled events
• Monitor participant engagement and provide assistance as needed
• Support transitions between activities and help maintain schedules
• Communicate observations, concerns, or participant needs to the appropriate team members
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe activity environment
• Follow established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recreation, caregiving, customer service, education, or a similar support role is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well with diverse individuals and maintain a professional, courteous approach
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow directions and routines
• Comfortable assisting with light physical tasks related to activity setup and cleanup
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
