Job Description
An established precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Manual / CNC Grinder to join its machining operation. In this role, you will perform precision grinding and finishing work on a variety of manufactured components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple grinding processes and the ability to work to precise specifications. CNC grinding experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual grinding equipment to produce precision components
- Perform centerless, ID/OD, surface, and Blanchard grinding operations
- Complete honing processes according to job specifications
- Inspect finished work to help ensure dimensional and quality requirements are met
- Operate CNC grinding equipment when qualified and assist with precision grinding processes
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous grinding experience is required
- Experience with centerless grinding
- Experience with ID/OD grinding
- Experience with honing, surface grinding, and/or Blanchard grinding
- CNC grinding experience is highly preferred
- Experience with Studer CNC grinding equipment is preferred
