(NO WEEKENDS)

Baylor Weekends: 6:30pm-7:00pm (Saturday & Sunday)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Birmingham Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Forestdale, AL. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, monitoring, and treatment planning, in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols

• Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing the principles of rehabilitation nursing

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on disease management, self-care techniques, and rehabilitation strategies

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys to enhance the overall patient experience

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Alabama State Board of Nursing

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation nursing principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet patient needs
