Advantage Personnel is looking for a Telecommunications Field Technician for a company that provides cutting-edge solutions and provides best-in-class services to their clients. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Pay is $20/hr to start.
Telecommunications Field Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize clients’ downtime
- Conduct site surveys to determine requirements for installation
- Provide training and support
Telecommunications Field Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Willingness to obtain ongoing training and development
- Commitment to professional development and advancement opportunities
- Preference given to relevant certification (CompTIA Network+, BICSI Installer, CIT)
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliability is a must
- Must have driver’s license and good driving record
