Night Supervision DSP (Awake)

Position Summary Safeway is seeking a dependable DSP to provide awake overnight support for an adult client living independently in Burnsville. This is a hands-on personal care position. The client uses a power wheelchair and Hoyer lift and is able to clearly communicate and direct her own care. Primary Responsibilities

• Hoyer lift transfers after required training
• Repositioning and physical assistance in bed
• Peri-care and brief changes
• Dressing, hair care, and other personal care assistance
• Assistance with meals, drinks, and accessing items
• Monitoring safety and comfort throughout the night
• Light homemaking and general cleaning
• Documentation and reporting of health or safety concerns

Candidate Requirements

• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Willing and able to use a Hoyer lift after training
• Able to safely assist with approximately 40 lbs. during repositioning/care
• Able to remain awake and attentive throughout the overnight shift
• Comfortable working in a home with a cat
• Dependable, patient, and respectful
• Available Monday–Thursday nights
• Some flexibility for weekend backup coverage when needed
