Shipping Clerk

We are looking for a Shipping Clerk for a growing manufacturer in Leetsdale, PA. This person will pack and prepare products for shipment, including inspection for defects, comparing to packing lists, and preparing shipping documents. Will ship items via UPS and Fed Ex and over the road carrier, both international and domestic, and interact with people in these companies.

We are looking for some experience of preparing packages for shipment but training can be provided in certain areas.

Full time weekly work schedule of Monday- Friday, 6AM- 2.30PM. Possible overtime. This location is on a bus line.

The starting pay range Is $18.35- 20.35 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Pay will gradually increase, and by the end of the first year you could make up to $22.75 per hour. Plus discretionary annual bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and good attention to detail

• Can operate a computer and learn shipping software

• Experience preparing packages for shipping

• Capable of learning to use a forklift

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position that include standing, walking and lifting for the entire shift

• Must be able to pass a preemployment drug and criminal background
