Senior Chiller Technician -- Minneapolis, MN

A national provider of temporary and portable HVAC and chiller solutions is hiring a Senior Chiller Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair large-tonnage cooling equipment in the field. This is a hands-on, repair-focused role for a technician who can diagnose and fix chillers — not just run preventative maintenance.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair large-tonnage chillers and HVAC equipment in the field
• Perform startups, shutdowns, and load-based performance checks
• Respond to service calls and resolve issues to root cause with minimal downtime
• Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and control sequences
• Document work accurately and communicate clearly with the customer and dispatch

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience with large-tonnage HVAC and chiller equipment
• Proven experience troubleshooting AND repairing chillers — not just preventative maintenance
• Strong electrical, refrigeration, and controls diagnostic skills
• EPA Universal certification
• Valid driver's license and clean-to-acceptable MVR
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen

Location: Minneapolis, MN | Pay: $35–$53 / hour (DOE) | Experience: 5–7 years
