About This Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our exceptional team at Golden Path Academy. Our state-of-the-art facility is committed to excellence, and we offer a nurturing environment for children aged 12 months to 16 months. A successful candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, a love for children, and a passion for instilling a love for learning. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging educational programs tailored to our curriculum, procedures, and initiatives.



What You'll Do

Join our amazing team as a Lead Teacher and provide top-notch developmental care and supervision to children at our center. You will create and maintain a safe, organized, and supportive learning environment that fosters positive relationships with children, co-teachers, and parents. Your role will involve modeling excellent childcare practices, establishing trust, and communicating effectively with parents through a school-provided application.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Developing engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of our young learners
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
  • Tracking individual child progress and preparing bi-annual progress reports
  • Fostering positive relationships with parents and communicating effectively with them daily


Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have fulfilled a high school program or its equivalent
  • And must meet *one* of the following:
  • Have 48 semester hours of college credit, including 12 hours in child-related subjects, and one year of program experience
  • Have a bachelor's degree in a child-related field
  • Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training
  • Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA
