Job Title: Cook–Part Time
Location: Absolut Care of Three Rivers – Painted Post, NY
Schedule: Varied
Rate: $17.50-$19.50

We’re hiring COOKS to join our Nutrition Services team at Absolut Care of Three Rivers. If you’ve worked in food service, a restaurant, or kitchen—or just love helping others—this is a great opportunity to get started in a stable and rewarding field!
Responsibilities:
Responsible for pre-preparation of foods.
Responsible for appropriate quantities of food prepared to meet standardized recipes and portion control.
Preparation of recipes from scratch and; prepare and serves meals according to menus.
Monitors methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning.
Follows the established standardized recipes and monitors food production and waste.
Prepares sufficient quantities of food for residents.
Supervises and directs dietary aides in absence of Food Service Director or Dietary Supervisor.
Other Duties as assigned by Food Service Director or designee.
